Birthday Posts Galore!

Coop's birthday was back at the end of December but if you know the Sidd Family, you know that Birthdays last almost a month for us. And why not?!?

So Here's to you Coop... HAPPY BIRTHDAY back on Dec 27th!!!

Things we LOVE about Cooper

Those big, yet squinty when smiling, eyes

That he loves being a 'big boy' (Yea... no more diapers since Aug)

His drinks. (He is a little obsessed with drinks, hopefully when he grows up he never discovers the bottle)

His infactuation with Teenage Mutant Turtles, Transformers, and Batman.

His crazy, long hair

That lisp is adorable

His obsession with the Jack the Pumpkin King

His obsession with Pumpkins

His everyday phrases of calling people pumpkin heads
In fact, he puts pumpkin in front of everything.

"Hey... thats a pumpkin tree."
"Can I have the pumpkin cookie?"

"Dad... your a pumpkin Head."

We love our pumpkin kid!!!

And heres to another 3 weeks of birthday celebration for Sam!!! Samantha's birthday was on the 24th. (I actually was out of town, so thank goodness to month birthdays.)

Sam wanted her first GIRL party (SO SAD, getting too old) so we had a fairy party. Sam and I made the invitations and sent them out. The invitations were so cute. Each one was a wand. The note was rolled up and became the handle of the wand. Then we made stars out of scrapbook paper and glued it to the handle, wrote the girls name on the star and glittered the whole thing up! SO FUN!

We had 7 little fairies running around our house come Saturday.

When the girls showed up they had to become official fairies by walking under the fairy curtain...

And get sprinkled with "Pixie Dust"!

We played Fairy, Fairy, Troy, (AKA Duck Duck Goose)

We made our own fairy wands,

Painted fingernails, danced like fairies, it was a blast.

Things we LOVE about Sam...
Her longing for art. (Everyday she begs to paint, cut, color)

How she tells time with "Wake-ups"

Sam is always concerned about everyones feelings.

Example - Nick-"Sam you look so beautiful toay" Sam- "But dad, look at Kadyn, doesn't she look beautiful too?"

Sam's favorite saying, "We love everybody because Jesus loves us huh mom, like even if they are different. If their big, or mean, or not nice, or anything huh mom."

Her obsession with tickling. Everyday - "Mom tickle my arm. Mom tickle my back. Mom tickle my legs."
Countdowns to Saturday because then "Daddy doesn't have to work".

Her PERFECT memory! We have been working on good words and not nice words in our home. We can't watch shows that don't say nice things. Well anytime Mommy, Daddy, or anyone over says, Crap, Hate, Shut-up, anything like that Sam will Gasp and Say "Mom, we do not say that." She keeps all of us in line!

We just love our beautiful Sam and her pure personality! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

Our First Christmas In 70 Degree Weather!! :)

I just want to appoligize for those of you who really don't care to see every detail of our christmas! For those who do.... ENJOY ABOUT 20 PICTURES! What can I say? Its what I do!!!

Christmas with the Flannerys!!
My parents/Brennon surprised us and landed in Phoenix airport the Friday before Christmas. They spent 8 hours in SLC airport trying to get here! That is dedication! The kids were sooo surprised and loved every minute of it! Thank you Grandma and Papa Flannery for your special trip out here!
My sister Brooke gave Cooper his robot (above) and the kid didn't want to open another present. He was in heaven! It walked, spun around, shot guns, talked. He still plays with it 24/7!

Our FIRST Christmas Eve in Phoenix!!
The last 2 years we have spent Christmas up in SLC so this year we decided to stay home for the holidays. We sat down and decided that we wanted to start some new family traditions and this was one of them. On Christmas Eve Dad reads the story of the birth of Jesus from the bible and I read 'The Night Before Christmas'. I love Traditions!

The tradition of opening up 1 present on Christmas Eve. Pajamas!!!
Sam modeling her new PJ's. Before we went to bed we went up on our computer and tracked Santa to see where he was. It was so fun for the kids because they had videos of Santa flying in all the different countries!

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!
Nick and I were up at 6:30 because we were so excited. We kept trying to make loud noises trying to wake the kiddos up but they were out! Finally we just went and woke them up at 8:30. We brushed teeth, got the cameras ready, and lined up on the stairs waiting for Dad to check and see if Santa even came.HE CAME! YEA!!

Paxton launched over all the presents tryine to get to the one that was playing music! He loved his presents but pretty much just ate the paper most of the time!
Cooper got Sam a gumball dispenser. Anyone that knows Sam knows her addiction to gum!
I love Nick's expression here! I had taken the kids to All a Dollar to pick out some things for them to give to Nick. Sam had picked out a coloring book for her and her dad to color together! HE LOVED IT AS YOU CAN TELL!!

Sam and Coops got little packpacks that matched and Cooper is still wearing his. Literally I am typing and he is sitting here playing with it on!
This was the BEST Christmas yet! As our family grows it just keeps getting funner and funner! THANK YOU SO MUCH to our family who made this holiday season special! It would have been soooo hard if we wouldn't of had such supportive family! You are all so generous and care so much for Coop, Sam, and Pax! We had all of Nick's family here for Thanksgiving and somehow we managed not to take any pictures, but we loved every minute of it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
WE LOVE YOU FAMILY!
