A little bit of this... A little bit of that...

What have the Siddoway family been up to for the last two months?? Ohhhhhh a little bit of EVERYTHING! Ready for the list??? T-ball, teaching preschool, crazy church callings, Halloween, family visits, more family visits, trips to Sedona, crazy work, crazy photography work, more church stuff, party planning, triathlons, birthdays, basketball games, online classes, and a whole lot more! So through all the craziness blogging got pushed WAY, WAY, WAY down the list. So here is a whole lot of pictures for a whole lot of catching up!

HALLOWEEN...Treats and Traditions
Meet Tinkerbell, Buzz Lightyear, and Mr. Pumpkin

Triathlon/Duathlon
The day after Halloween a friend and I headed down to Casa Grande to a Triathlon. I wimped out and did a Duathlon because I don't think I have swam laps since I was 10. It was a BLAST!

Ladies don't look too close... Remember, we had just biked, (Sharon Swam), and ran over 10miles. YIKES!

FAMILY...
We had the Greens (Nick's sis and Family) come and stay with us for a week in October. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and poor Coop and Gabers played a little too hard!
Some Family Pics... I spend all my time taking pictures of everyone elses kids/families that I never take my own kids pics. I forced Nick to come with me and take some shots of our kids! Their too cute!

SEDONA...

We took a little weekend trip to Sedona for a little break away from our crazy life and it was really nice. Sedona was rated on the top 10 most beautiful places to live and I agree! I actually got to see pine trees for the first time in years! The kids did really well and enjoyed a little R & R time with us!

On the way home from Sedona I turned around to find this! Yikes! I had taken them off and put on a diaper expecting him to fall asleep on the 2 hour ride home. I love BOYS!

The best part was that 2 hours later I turned around to still see this face! 2 hours of a underwear hat! How nice!

And We Shall Call Him Stitch Face...

Well we had our first Emergency Room visit on Sunday night. We have never had to take any of our kids to the ER before until Sunday. Poor Pax had a little accident and ended up getting 4 stitches right above his eye. Someone (me) put Pax on the bed (knew better) and he crawled right over the pillows falling right off the bed. Our bed is extremely high so the poor kid fell a good 3-4 feet. He hit our nightstand on Nicks side (does that make it a little bit Nicks fault and not so much mine :) Anyway it is ok to laugh about it now because he if fine but it was so scary. Head wounds always bleed so much and Pax was bleading like crazy! It was a good thing that Nick was there because mom kind of lost it a little! It just scared me so bad. Anyway Pax was a tough kid and when we go to the hospital he just flirted with every nurse he saw. Smiling and giggling. Like nothing was even wrong. When it was time to do the stitches we had to wrap him up like a mummy and hold him down. Then they put a blue towel over his face with a little opening for his cut and eye. Poor kid, it was soooo scary! He cried so hard and loud I think he completely wore himself out because during the last stitch he actually fell asleep. He was so brave though and too bad Halloween wasn't this week. He could have been Frankenstien! I LOVE YOU PAX! And I am sorry!

5 Little Monkey's Sitting in the Tree, Teasing Mr. Alligator Can't Catch Me...

The week after Cali we decided to take a couple of days and enjoy nature! We headed up to Sedona for a couple days of camping! It was beautiful! We made Reeses S'mores, sang fun camp songs thanks to Naomi, played Uno, told scary stories (There was this hook... ha ha. Really we didn't, no one could think of any except for the hook man:) and we enjoyed not having tv's, Nicks cell phone, or any computers! It was sweet.df
One of the mornings the boys made a killer breakfast for us! French toast out of muffins from Costco. It was Awesome. Thanks Heidi for the recipe. (We missed you guys)Pax again was great! We just brought is pack and play up and he just played in that and enjoyed the fresh air!

I loved this picture of Adam fishing with Sam's princess fishing pole. What a manly man! :)

The water was a little too chilly to swim in but Sam and I stuck our toes in.

After this trip we decided that camping really isn't that hard. We always just thought that with kids it is just too difficult but it was a blast. They were awesome and we will be doing this a lot more next year! Anyone wanna come???? :)

August Is Over So Let The Games Begin!!!

August is the end of Nick's fiscal year so we really don't see him all summer. Once September 1st hits we all take a big breath and relax a little! We went to Cali for a week to enjoy Disneyland and the beach!

Cooper is a little obsessed with Jack on the Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack makes that face on the movie a couple of times so Cooper just randomly does it all the time announcing that he's Jack!

Pax was such a good boy the whole time! He is my angel child! He loved seeing all of the lights and listening to all of the music. We stayed up in Anaheim for a couple nights and then went down to Newport and stayed there for a couple of nights and then back up to Anaheim to finish out the trip. Nicks had a conference for a couple of days so they put us up in this hotel right on the beach. It was sooo beautiful and everynight we just opened our balcony and fell asleep listening to the waves! Thank you Franklin Covey! This picture was on our balcony!

I decided that I am definitely a beach chick! One day while Nick was in meetings me and the kids just went to the beach all day. Pax and Coop fell asleep for 4 hours and me and Sam just picked up shells and relaxed. Best day of the whole trip! Give me sun and give me beach! YUM!

Oh what do you do in the Summer time when all of Arizona is 115 degrees?

Do you swim in a pool to keep yourself cool,

color your body with markers,

Or hunt for DINOSAURS???

Is that what you do??? So do I!
We have had a really fun summer, but have had to get creative to keep cool in this AZ heat. Sam and Cooper just finished swimming lessons with Miss Erin and loved it. We didn't get any pictures of Cooper because he got Strep the last day of swim lessons. Sam turned into a little fish during swim lessons. She can now swim the length of a pool all by herself, float by herself, hold her breath forever and learned how to knee dive! I still here her saying "reach and pull, reach and pull" to herself sometimes Erin. Both kids loved it and Erin was a wonderful teacher. THANK YOU!
**
We have done many art projects these last couple of months. Some of them planned, and some of them not. Cooper found some markers and made himself look "Handsome". And also the carpet "handsome" and the floor "handsome". Glad all we carry are washables here at the Siddoway home.
**
The last couple of pictures are of an activity that Nick did with the kids one night. He rented the movie 'Dinosaur' for them and made them a hut downstairs. Then they went and got their hunting gear and attire and went on a Dinosaur hunt. They ended up finding some (on the TV of course) and had a blast!! What a fun dad they have.
Summer has been fun here, hot, but fun! But don't get us wrong, we are counting down until fall!!!!!!!!

Our Booming Baby Boy!

Our little Pax isn't so little anymore! All of our kids have had chinkmunk cheeks. But Pax has the cheeks and the chunky neck, and tummy and legs. I love the rolls! Here is Paxton at 4 months...
Here are his 4 month check-up stats:
Height - 27" long - 95%
Weight - 15lb 12oz - 70%
Head - 75%

Things that Pax loves:
being tickled all over, especially on his back
to roll over and over and over and over and...
being held by Sam his second mom
blowing bubbles with his mouth
sticking both, yes both, fist in his mouth at the same time
breastfeeding (he won't take a binky but he sure will take a breast)
tub time
swimming with his brother and sister
Things Pax doesn't love:
his carseat
cars
car rides

Cooper helped me to get Pax to smile during his pictures and after every picture had to look at it. After awhile he made it his goal to get in the picture. Most pictures of Pax include some type of hand, face, foot which belongs to Cooper. I finally let him just join in on the fun!! I love my boys!

Father's Day and Home Depot

Here is Nick sporting his new BBQing Apron that the kids made for him. This year for Father's Day we had a BBQ theme for Nick. Everything he would need for the perfect BBQ. Apron and all.

Last Saturday Nick took the kids to Home Depot to pick up some stuff and came back hours later with a wooden stool and some very cool mini aprons for the kids. They thought they were pretty hot stuff as you can see!

Go Home Depot!!!!!!
