Father's Day and Home Depot

Here is Nick sporting his new BBQing Apron that the kids made for him. This year for Father's Day we had a BBQ theme for Nick. Everything he would need for the perfect BBQ. Apron and all.

Last Saturday Nick took the kids to Home Depot to pick up some stuff and came back hours later with a wooden stool and some very cool mini aprons for the kids. They thought they were pretty hot stuff as you can see!

Go Home Depot!!!!!!

A Much Needed Trip to the Beach! (With a little Disney of course!)

We headed down to Newport, CA for our first vacation in years where Nick didn't have to work and we were excited! Anytime we vacation it is always piggybacked with Franklin Covey, which is nice sometimes in a way, but also extremely exhausting on Nick. This Trip was definitely due!
We stopped in Palm Springs first and spent a day there. The main street was full of fun restaurants and shops. We spent the morning just walking up and down enjoying all the fun statues of famous people.
The next day we headed to Newport. Spent some time swimming and just relaxing. Of course we spent some time watching basketball as well. (Lakers were in the finals) It was fun to just hang out! We did hit up Disneyland one day. How can you go to CA and not go to DL????

Coop was in love with the characters. Nick actually waited in line for 30 min just to see Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. It was worth it! (Again, Nick stood in line I just joined at the end, so of course it was worth it for me, Nick might think differently)

My three Stooges!

We also spent some time at Newport beach! It was beautiful. Cooper enjoyed playing in the sand but freaked out everytime the water touched him. Sam is just my 'No Fear' child and would have swam all the way to China if we would of let her!

Of course we had to bury our feet. When I was young my family would go to Hawaii every couple of years and my dad would always bury our feet, sometimes the whole body. (don't worry dad, I finally forgive you for burying me in the sand and then letting the tide drown me.)

Those are two good looking boys!

What more is there to say?!?

Paxtons Big Day!

We blessed Paxton on June 1st down here in AZ. It was such an amazing day spent with family and friends. I honestly think it was one of the best days ever! Pax was perfect during the blessing and actually all during church! We had so many loved ones travel so far to participate and show their support! It was so wonderful! (Ok I think I got the point across:)

A lot of the Siddoway cousins came to hang out with Paxton on his special day. Gabers, Ellie, and Lil' Brinley Green. And then Ashton Siddoway too. They had a fun/crazy weekend and actually all got along extremely well. You never know what is going to happen when you throw a one year old, 2 two year olds, a four year old and a five year old all in one play room. It turned out great!

Grandma Kris and Papa Craig drove 16 hours just to be here. WE LOVE YOU GUYS! And we have to give Grandma Kris a little shout out. HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY! WE LOVE YOU THE MOSTEST!

Representing the Flannery side was Papa and Grandma Flannery. We love you both so much too and thank you for coming. We ended up having to change the date at the last minute so a lot of my family couldn't come!

We just feel so blessed to have such supportive family every where we turn. Although we love living here in AZ, there is nothing like family and we always miss them! We love all of you and THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of your love and support!

(We didn't get any pictures of just Pax on his blessing day and he was not happy in the family pics so here is a semi updated picture of my chunker. Dimples and all! I LOVE MY PAX!)
