Note... Do not read this post if you have recently eaten anything that could possibly come back up. Some images not pretty!!

The month of May was kicked off with a weekend spent in a hospital! My poor little Coop jumped (aka got pushed by an elder sister) off a playground toy. Us being the kind, caring parents that we are decided that he was OK! Thursday rolled around and we decided to just get a x-ray from a friend who was a chiropractor and take a peek. Nothing. So we waited longer and on Friday our pediatrician called to check on him (Sam had her preschool checkup on Thursday and I mentioned it to her), and I told her what we knew. She was a determined pediatrician and pretty much told us we would go see a orthopedic surgeon or else. So we did, by force. One hour later we were headed strait to the hospital feeling pretty guilty because the Dr. was so worried about how serious it was. Poor kid had broken his elbow growth plate and shifted some other things around too. So one surgery, 3 pins, a huge hospital bill and 3 days later we went home. Day 1
Day 3. What a brave boy, I even got him to crack a 1/4 of a smile.

The pins in the elbow right before the hard cast went on.

2 weeks after surgery we went in to get a hard cast (the swelling had to go down) and here is my little stud muffin now!

The poor kid's cast probably weighs 5 pounds. His elbow was as wide as my knee.
Not only have we had broken bones, but we have had broken eyes. Well, not literally, but some pretty crazy stuff has been going on. CREEPY...

It has been a long couple of weeks with no vision and vampire eyes. Can't wait for that day when we have those perfect bodies!!!

My little Sam finished another year of swim lessons. She is such a little fish and she did so good.

She also graduated from preschool. 3 friends and I just did a rotating preschool this year and it worked out great. All the girls were perfect and we had a lot of fun!

That night she got her graduation present. A new alarm clock. She is fascinated with alarm clocks right now. She just can't believe that there is something that will wake her up in the mornings so she doesn't miss out on anything??!!

And last but not least here are some shots of my kids. I wanted to take some quick pics of my kids for the G-ma's for Mother's Day so I wipped out the camera one afternoon and just took a couple of shots. I am so grateful I did this when I did! Man I sure love my kiddos.
